We are committed to protecting your personal information and handling it with transparency, care, and respect. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website or book our services, how we use it, with whom we share it, and what rights you have regarding your data.
This policy applies to all customers and visitors regardless of where they are located, and is intended to comply with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nLPD) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
By using our website or making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
What personal information we collect
We collect only the information that is necessary to provide our services. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:
- Identity information — your first and last name.
- Contact information — email address and phone number.

- Booking details — number of passengers, luggage, special requests, and any corporate billing information you choose to provide.
- Payment information — payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not receive, store, or have access to your card number, expiry date, or CVV. We retain only a confirmation of payment and the amount charged.

We do not collect sensitive personal data (such as health information, biometric data, or political opinions) and we do not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 16.
Why we collect this information
We collect and use your personal information only for the following purposes:
- To process and confirm your booking.
- To communicate with you about your journey, including confirmation emails, ride updates, and driver details.
- To provide our chauffeur services, including coordinating your pickup and ensuring punctual arrival.

Data sharing and confidentiality
Your personal information is treated as confidential. We do not disclose it to third parties except in the limited circumstances described below.
Your assigned chauffeur
When a booking is confirmed and a chauffeur is assigned, we provide the chauffeur with your name and phone number only. This is shared exclusively so the chauffeur can contact you regarding your journey. The chauffeur does not receive your email address, payment details, or any other personal information beyond what is strictly necessary to carry out the ride.
Trusted service providers
Certain technology providers process data on our behalf as data processors in order to operate our business. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data, to use it only for the purposes we specify, and not to use it for their own commercial purposes:
- Stripe — secure payment processing. Stripe independently complies with PCI DSS and applicable data protection law. Their privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
- Email service provider — used to deliver booking confirmations, invoices, and ride-related communications to you.
- Database provider — used to securely store booking and customer information required to operate our services.
Legal disclosure
We may disclose your information to competent authorities if required to do so by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Nobleis, our customers, or others.
Legal basis for processing (GDPR)
For customers located in the European Union or the European Economic Area, we process your personal data on the following lawful bases under Article 6 of the GDPR:
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — processing your booking, providing your chauffeur service, and sending booking confirmations are necessary to fulfil the contract between you and Nobleis.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — retaining certain booking and financial records to comply with Swiss accounting and tax law.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — fraud prevention, security, and improving our services, where these interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — where you have given explicit consent, for example to receive marketing communications, if we offer this in future. You may withdraw consent at any time.
For customers in Switzerland, data processing is governed by the Swiss nLPD. The purposes and principles described in this policy apply equally under Swiss law.
How long we keep your information
We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this policy, including:
- Providing and administering your booked services.
- Complying with Swiss accounting obligations (generally 10 years for financial records under the Swiss Code of Obligations).
- Complying with applicable tax and legal requirements.
- Resolving disputes or enforcing our Terms & Conditions.
Once the applicable retention period has passed, your data is securely deleted or anonymised so that it can no longer be associated with you.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right of access — you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to correction — you may ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Right to deletion — you may ask us to delete your personal data where we no longer have a lawful basis to retain it.
- Right to restriction — you may ask us to restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances.
- Right to object — you may object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Right to data portability — where processing is based on consent or contract and carried out by automated means, you may request your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
- Right to lodge a complaint — you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority. In Switzerland, this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) at edoeb.admin.ch. In the EU, you may contact the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 11. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
Data security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, accidental loss, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), access controls, and the use of reputable, security-certified service providers.
While we take all reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority and, where required, affected individuals in accordance with applicable law.
International data transfers
Our service providers may process your data in countries outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area. Where such transfers occur, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, including the use of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or equivalent mechanisms recognised under the Swiss nLPD, to ensure your data receives an equivalent level of protection.
Cookies and website analytics
Our website may use essential cookies strictly necessary for the operation of certain features, such as maintaining secure administrative sessions. These cookies do not track you for advertising purposes.
